[Korean Expressions] HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND Greetings! Pt.2 ~ Exploring Korean Language

Let's start with the 2nd part~
The second part of the Greetings! is about saying Good Night, Congratulations, Saying Grace before and after meal and Wishing someone a Great Weekend! I hope you enjoy this lesson.
1.) 안녕히 주무세요 (Annyeonghi jumuseyo) ~ GOOD NIGHT (HONORIFIC FORM)
안녕히 주무세요 means Good Night in Honorific Form. It is used when the person you are talking to is a person older than you like your parents or grandparents, or someone with higher position than you.

잘 자요 means Good Night in a less formal way, more of a Casual Polite Form. It literally means 'Sleep Well'. It is usually said to someone older or almost the same age but you are not too formal nor too comfortable with that person.

3.) 안녕히 주무셨어요? (Annyeonghi jumusyeosseoyo?) ~ DID YOU SLEEP WELL? (HONORIFIC FORM)
안녕히 주무셨어요? literally means 'Did you sleep well?' in a formal way. You could also say this as greeting in the morning so in the picture, it says 'Good morning?' But it really means asking someone 'How was your sleep?' It is used when the person you are talking to is a person older than you like your parents or grandparents, or someone with higher position than you.

4.) 잘 잤어요? (Jal Jasseoyo?) ~ DID YOU SLEEP WELL? (CASUAL POLITE FORM)
잘 잤어요? literally means 'Did you sleep well?' but more of a casual way. You could also say this as greeting in the morning so in the picture, it says 'Good morning?'. It is used when the person you are talking to is a person slightly older than you or almost same age as you but you are neither too formal nor too comfortable with the person.

5.) 잘 먹겠습니다 (Jal Meokgesseumnida) ~ THANK YOU FOR THE MEAL (HONORIFIC FORM)
잘 먹겠습니다 literally means 'I will eat well'. But it can also mean 'Thank you for the meal'. This is what Koreans say before eating their meal.

6.) 많이 드세요 (Mani Deuseyo) ~ ENJOY YOUR MEAL / EAT WELL (HONORIFIC FORM)
많이 드세요 literally means 'Eat a lot' in a formal way. But it could also mean 'Enjoy your meal' or 'Eat well'

7.) 잘 먹었습니다 (Jal Meogeosseumnida) ~ I ENJOYED THE MEAL (HONORIFIC FORM)
잘 먹었습니다 literally means 'I ate well' in a formal way. But it could also mean 'I enjoyed the meal'. This is what Koreans say every after eating their meal. You could respond politely by saying '네 (Ne)' which means 'Yes' or 'Okay'.

8.) 주말 잘 보내세요 (JUMAL JAL BONESEYO) ~ HAVE A NICE / GREAT WEEKEND
주말 잘 보내세요 means 'Have a nice weekend' or 'Have a great weekend'. It is said during Friday (or the last day of their weekday work wherein they rest during weekend) and you wish the other person to spend their weekend well.

9.) 축하합니다 (CHUKHAHAMNIDA) ~ CONGRATULATIONS
축하합니다 means 'Congratulations'. You could respond by saying 감사합니다 (Kamsahamnida) which means 'Thank you'.
