[LESSON 1] How to say your Nationality in Korean?

 Saying your nationality is very easy if you know the Korean term of your country. So, it is essential that you already read or studied our post regarding the Korean terms for every country.

Nationality in Korean is 국적 (GUKJEOK)


If you are a Filipino, you could tell your nationality as:

Korean term for Philippines + 사람 (saram)

필리핀 (Pillipin) 사람 (saram)

This means Filipino in Korean.


**For Korean:

Korean term for Korea + 사람 (saram)

한국 (Han-guk) 사람 (saram)

한국사람
Korean


**For Chinese:

Korean term for China + 사람 (saram)

중국 (Jung-guk) 사람 (saram)

중국사람
Chinese


**For Japanese:

Korean term for Japan + 사람 (saram)

일본 (il-bon) 사람 (saram)

일본사람
Japanese


**For Taiwanese:

Korean term for Taiwan + 사람 (saram)

대만 (De-man) 사람 (saram)

대만사람
Taiwanese

Itaewon Class teaches us how to drink and pour soju properly~ Exploring Korean Culture

I was really fond of Itaewon Class since I started watching it due to its intense story line. But as I watch it more, I realized that there were lessons that we could get from it. If you could notice, there was a part there when Korean culture was shown through Park Saeroy's father. There was a scene when Park Saeroy's father taught him how to drink Soju.
