The lesson is about counting using Sino-Korean
숫자 means number
When do we use Sino Korean numbers?
1.) 날짜 - Date
(When talking about the 'date')
Example 1:
Vocabulary Time!!!
여러분 (or 여러분들) means Everyone
3월9일
3(삼)월 9(구)일 means March 9
월 means month
일 means day
제 means My
생일 means birthday
입니다 is equivalent of 'is' in the context (It is usually used when stating and noun is placed before it)
Translation: Everyone, my birthday is on March 9.
Example 2:
Vocabulary Time!!!
6(유)월 6(육)일 means June 6
6(유)월7(칠)일 means June 7
**if 6 is placed before 월, it becomes 유 (not 육)
월 means month
일 means day
~인가요 -> placed before a noun; a grammar ending when you want to confirm (if yes or no).
Translation: Is it June 6? Or is it June 7?
Example 3:
Vocabulary Time!!!

9(구)월 27(이십칠)일 means September 27
~인가(요) -> placed before a noun; a grammar ending when you want to confirm (if yes or no).
Translation: Is it September 27? It's September 27.
2.) 기간 - Period of Time
(When talking about 'period of time')
Example:
Vocabulary Time!!!
게임 means game
을 is an object particle placed if the last letter before it is consonant (를 if vowel)
2~3일 means 2 to 3 days
동안 means during
안 is placed before a verb to indicate a negative sentence (not)
했다가 -> a grammar pattern indicated that an action is interrupted.
**the sentence was not complete and Jin did not mention which action was done that interrupted while he was not playing his game**
Translation: I was not playing game for 2 to 3 days, when...
3.) 순서 - Order/sequence
(When talking about 'order/sequence')
Example:
Vocabulary Time!!!
본보야지 means Bon Voyage
1(일)편 means 1st movie or Movie 1
